MEMORY VERSE:  The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  -Proverbs 9:10
-"This verse uses the phrase, 'fear of the Lord'.  It tell us that to gain wisdom about God, we must first show Him respect.  It also tell sus that when we spend time honoring and knowing God, we begin to understand about His way in our life." 
-"Fearing the Lord" is much like fearing your earthly father.  It does not mean that you are afraid, but that out of love and respect you wish to obey your earthly father and Heavenly Father."   This phrase means we are to be in awe of God and that in realizing His awesomeness, we will be able to better know and worship Him.
