OUR CAMP GOAL:
- To disciple youth and children during spring break
- For youth to experience and extend leadership by leading children
- To utilize nature and learn outdoors living
DATE:
- March 19 - 21 (Mon - Wed)
- Reasoning: YP will have a carwash on Saturday, 3/24. It will give the youth one day to relax and to prepare (3/23). Youth night on Friday, 3/23 resumes for that evening for prayer and planning.
PLACE: Malaekahana State Park, Camping A26, A27, B4-B7
PARK HOURS: 7 am - 6:45 pm. Gate closes at 6:45 pm (no exceptions).
OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMIT REQUIRED AFTER HOURS (please text 808-741-6294 your name if you are driving and planning to park)
CAMP FEE: $22.00, to help cover food, state of Hawaii camp use and camp site fee (If churches provide scholarships, expect this fee to go down. Bring this fee with you at camp.)
WHAT TO BRING:
- Bible, Notebook, Ballpen.
- Tent, Toiletries, Clothes for 3 days, beach clothes, Snacks.
- For communal tent: Eggs; Spam; Corned Beef; Cuttleries (text 808-741-6294 if bringing along with your name)
IF YOU PLAN TO JOIN THE LEADERSHIP: Join the leadership meeting on March 8, 6:30 pm at a phone conference. Join by calling (515)604-9334,,329420 the last set is pin number.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CAMP
Day 1:
- 1pm - Arrival / Registration
- 2-5pm - Pitch tent, open schedule
- 6pm - Dinner
- 8:30 pm - Campfire
- 10:00 pm - Good night
Day 2:
- 7:30am - Bfast
- 10 am - Prepare for "Goat Island"
- 11:00am - Lunch
- 11:45am - Leave for "Goat Island"
- 6pm - Dinner
- 10:00 pm - Good Night
- 7:30am - Bfast
- 10:00 am - Lunch
- 12:00 pm - Dismissal: Go Home
